SPECIAL INTERESTS
Dr Sheila McCarroll would like
our patients to note that she has a special interest in the counseling of patients
with psychosexual problems. Patients experiencing problems of this nature should
contact the surgery and request a routine appointment.
Non - NHS Services
Private medical examinations for:
insurance companies, HGV licences, pre-employment, private health insurance claim,
certain holidays/vacations, elderly drivers, passports, driving medicals, shotgun
licences.
When you use any of these services
our receptionist will tell you that a fee will be applicable. We regret that
we are unable to hand over any certificates, claim forms or reports before the
appropriate fee has been received. We are happy to provide these services but
would stress they are NOT part of the free NHS facilities provided by your doctor.
If you have any problems with payment please do not hesitate to speak to our
practice manager, Mrs Genevieve Hughes.
Periodic Health Checks
Patients aged 16 to 74 years who have not presented to the practice within a
three year period for either consultation or clinic, will remain registered with
the practice and will be provided with the same level of service as and when
required unless the practice or the health authorities have been notified of
any changes to the patient circumstances which may have resulted in the patient
being transferred out of the practice list.
Patients aged 75 years or over who have not presented to the practice for clinic
or consultation within a 12 month period will remain registered with the practice
and will be provided with the same level of service as and when required unless
the practice or the health authorities have been notified of any changes to the
patient circumstances which may have resulted in the patient being transferred
out of the practice list.
