EXTENDED HOURS- EVENING SURGERY EVERY MONDAY FROM 5.30 - 7.30 P.M. (WITH ADMIN TIME BUILT IN). THESE APPOINTMENTS ARE PRE BOOKED APPOINTMENTS AND ARE AVAILABLE ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE. PATIENTS SHOULD NOTE THAT ANYONE REQUIRING A DOCTOR URGENTLY AFTER 5.30 P.M. SHOULD FOLLOW THE NORMAL PROCEDURES AND CONTACT AYRSHIRE DOCTORS ON CALL ON 0845 741 3003 OR ATTEND THE NEAREST ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY UNIT. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BE SEEN IN SURGERY. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT IN THE INTEREST OF STAFF SAFETY THE DOORS MAY BE LOCKED AND ONLY PATIENTS WITH APPOINTMENTS WILL BE ADMITTED.

PRESCRIPTIONS REQUESTED AFTER 4 P.M. WILL NOT BE PROCESSED TILL THE FOLLOWING MORNING AND THE 24 OR 48 HOURS WORKING RULE WILL APPLY FROM THEN. OUR APPOINTMENT SYSTEM HAS BEEN CHANGED TO OFFER PATIENTS APPOINTMENTS UNDER THE 48 HRS ADVANCE ACCESS SYSTEM AND IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO BOOK APPOINTMENTS UPTO ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE WE ALSO OFFER A NUMBER OF SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS WHICH CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED ON THE DAY THE APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED. PLEASE ENSURE THAT APPOINTMENTS NO LONGER REQUIRED ARE CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY
