As a practice we currently use MJOG which sends a reminder to patients about appointments by text message. This message is normally sent the evening prior to the appointment. For patients who current receive this text message you may notice a change to texts received in the future. On Friday 21st October we are moving to Medical Messenger.
Currently MJOG only allows a text to be sent to the patient reminding them of their appointment. Medical Messenger will send a message confirming that an appointment has been made along with the details. It will also sent a reminder message the day before just like MJOG does but you will also be able to cancel appointments by text which means that you don’t have to wait until the practice is open to cancel it.
If you currently receive a text to remind you of your appointment you don’t have to do anything. If you would to sign up to this service please complete the following form and hand it in to reception.
If you currently receive a text but wish to opt-out, again, please complete this form and return to the practice.
If you want to update your contact details please complete the below Update Personal Details form which will be submitted to the practice automatically.
